Compstegnathus Armatipes
Height: 7 feet
Length: 13 feet
Weight: 700 pounds
Coloration: Males have a blue base color, with a jagged yellow and black stripe running down their bodies. Their heads are grey, with bright blue markings near the snout. Dorsal plates are pitch black, with a splotch of orange in the center. Females are lighter blue-grey, with smaller dorsal plates with a yellow center. Babies have stubby dorsal plates, lighter markings and a grey body.
Diet: Meat, usually hunting smaller mutants, but will also hunt fish.
Description: A combination of Compsognathus and Stegosaurus, the agile Compstegnathus is an opportunistic predator. Tending to travel in family packs, they often hunt small mutants, overwhelming them with their stature and numbers. One of their most striking features are their tongues; due to their DNA containing African Tree frog, their tongues can actually extend outward and wrap around their prey, bringing them to an amazing array of sharp teeth. Their dorsal fins are primarily used to attract females and ward of males, but they can also be used for defense; if a predator were to attack a Compstegnathus, it would soon have a moutful of razor-sharp plates, stabbing it's mouth and breaking teeth. These mutants typically hunt at night, where it's coloration blends in with the darkness of the Jungle.
Territory: Jungle, although it will occasionally venture out to the Redwood Forests.
