Description: One of the deadliest mutants cloned by InGen, the Deinonycanis is a force to be messed with. Using the DNA of Deinonychus and the Dire wolf as a base, these creatures are vicious pack-hunters, able to swiftly bring down prey with their lashing sickle-claws and canine teeth. Typically hunting at night, Deinonycanis travel in broods, led by an alpha pair, while the females stay with the young, the males hunt for food. The quills on their tails are used by the males like peacocks, swinging them up in the air to attract females. Similar to a modern wolf, Deinonycanis have a distinct call, which is mostly a loud bark followed by a deep hissing.
Territory: They live practically anywhere, but prefer to live in the Redwood Forests.
