Height: 52 feet
Length: 73 feet
Weight: 32 tons
Coloration: Males are burnt orange, with a white stomach and black splotches on their backs leading up to their necks. Crests are red with black markings. Females are yellow-orange with black splotches, smaller crests, which are orange with black markings. Babies are pale yellow, with a small crest and smaller markings.
Diet: Plants, usually browsing high up in the trees.
Description: Brachysaurolophus is the largest mutant created by InGen. Slightly bigger than a normal Brachiosaurus, this creature was made using the DNA of Brachiosaurus and Parasaurolophus, resulting in a sauropod with a Parasaurolophus crest. It usually browses in the treetops, grazing slowly like a big cow. During the mating season, males stand side-by-side and swing their necks violently at each other, much like modern giraffes do today. This can result in injury, as the large creatures can collapse and crush other mutants below. After mating, the female will bury her eggs in a dug hole not too far from the Game Trail, where these creatures usually roam. After hatching, the babies will usually group together, traveling with each other until they become old enough to survive on their own. Brachysaurolophus use the crests on their heads to communicate with each other, bellowing low, deep calls that echo across the island. The crests are bigger in males than females.
Territory: Areas with flat, open spaces.
