Northern Facility

One of two compounds on the island, the Northern Facility is where most of the workers resided, relaxed, and studied the mutations. Inside the fenced compound are three small "apartments", where the workers stayed, a "diner", where the workers ate, and several small buildings which housed files, computers and generators. Near the end of the compound lies the largest building in the area, a three-story, wood-and-concrete building, where most of the young mutations were held in small, room-sized cages.

From there, scientists observed the creatures, checking on their vitals and making sure that they were developing as planned. At times, some of the smartest creatures managed to break from their cages, and attack the workers. Most of the time, there were no fatalities, but other times, people werent as lucky.

Now, the compound lies in ruins, overtaken by the jungle. Mostly no mutants linger here, with memories of the small cages they were kept in there, but sometimes, the compound is being watched by hungry eyes.
