Southern Facility

The largest of two compounds on the island, the Southern Facility is in a state of ruins. Most of the smaller buildings have crumbled, laying in a rotten heap of their foundation, and there are shards of glass and wood everywhere. But for the most part, the buildings constructed of metal and concrete have held up. Near the end of the compound, two twin buildings of metal and brick have held up the best. Inside them, three Cray supercomputers sit, still connected to the floor as they had been several years before. Nearby, rows and rows of filing cabinets containing priceless information have been knocked over, trampled by the mutations of the island.

Computer monitors have been smashed, tables knocked over, chairs gnawed on. The exterior looks clean, but the exterior is a huge mess. Amazingly, the Cray computers have stayed intact, the machine that created the mutations still stand, except for a little dust on their frames.

This area is home to small herbivores, and occasionally the group of Brachysaurolophus will come here to forage on the treetops. But at other times, this area is home to Deinonycanis, usually staking out the area as their domain before having to leave due to larger predators.
